ORYX Knee Stability Advanced insights for knee function and recovery

Optimize knee rehabilitation and performance with the ORYX Knee Stability system. Designed to address the complexities of knee mechanics, this system provides precise, actionable data to guide recovery and improve movement quality.

Dynamic Assessment of knee stability

Move beyond basic strength and range-of-motion tests. The ORYX Knee Stability system evaluates:

Post-Surgery Recovery

Facilitate recovery after ACL reconstruction, total knee replacement, or other knee-related injuries. ORYX Knee Stability provides precise insights into joint control and coordination, guiding targeted strategies to restore function, mobility, and confidence during rehabilitation.

Monitor Knee Stability

Track knee stability and coordination over time to identify signs of instability or asymmetry. ORYX Knee Stability enables consistent monitoring to ensure progress, allowing for timely adjustments in recovery or training programs.

Performance Optimization

Enhance knee mechanics for high-impact movements. ORYX Knee Stability helps uncover inefficiencies and refine movement quality, enabling athletes to perform at their peak while maintaining joint stability and efficiency.

Key features

Real-time feedback

Monitor knee function during dynamic movements such as walking, running, and squatting. Receive immediate insights to fine-tune rehabilitation or performance programs.

Quick and comprehensive analysis

With minimal setup and secure cloud-based processing, ORYX Knee Stability generates detailed reports within minutes, offering insights into stability, coordination, and joint control.

Cloud-based data management

Securely store and analyze patient or athlete data over time to monitor progress and refine intervention strategies as needed.

Tailored Recommendations

Link assessment results to specific exercises or training plans, ensuring that every intervention is data-driven and highly effective.

Comprehensive Analysis

Assess how the knee performs as part of a coordinated system, rather than in isolation.

Tailored Interventions

Translate data into targeted exercises, programs, or training plans that drive measurable results.

Proven Results

Use data-driven interventions to reduce reinjury rates and improve long-term outcomes.

Transform how you assess and improve knee stability with ORYX

ORYX Gait Observation

While the ORYX Hamstring Control and ORYX Knee stability focus on targeted injury recovery and rehabilitation, ORYX GO offers a broader perspective, making it ideal for analyzing complex, full-body movement patterns in real-world contexts.

ORYX Hamstring Control

Focused on hamstring rehabilitation and performance, the ORYX Hamstring App provides precise insights into postural control, pelvic stability, and load distribution. It helps to develop targeted strategies to rebuild strength, coordination, and resilience, ensuring athletes are ready to perform at their best

Frequently asked questions

These FAQ’s contain most of the answers to the questions you are looking for. If you don’t see the question that you might have, then please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What is the investment I have to make to start using ORYX Knee stability?

Please contact us for pricing.

How long does it take from measurement to useful information

The exact time from setup (mounting sensors to the body + calibration) to useful information depends on the amount of tests conducted. On average a full assessment (4 tests) can be completed within 10 to 15 minutes.

Are you going to add extra tests in the future?

Yes, we’re planning to introduce hop-tests and a bikefit test in the future. While overhead movements are not on our current roadmap, we’re open to exploring other assessments based on user feedback and requests

What sensors are used?

We collaborate with 2M Engineering, a recognized leader in sensor technology. Their Qsense sensors form the foundation of our motion analysis solutions, delivering the reliability and accuracy essential for professional-grade applications.

This partnership allows us to integrate 2M Engineering’s expertise in sensor development with our innovative approach to data analysis, enabling advancements in how movement is measured, understood, and optimized.

Do I need to be trained or educated?

The app provides a measurement tutorial, and there are various training materials and courses available for interpreting and using kinematic data. Additionally, our Service Level Agreement ensures you receive full support from our specialists when needed.

What science is the analysis based on?

Please check out our method page.

Where can I use the product the best?

You can use the system both indoors and outdoors since it’s fully mobile. For walking assessments, it’s ideal to have an obstacle-free pathway of at least 10-15 meters, while for running assessments, 30-50 meters is recommended due to the rhythmic nature of gait.

Where is my data being stored?

Your data is securely stored on servers located in Europe, ensuring compliance with European data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR). We take data privacy seriously and implement robust security measures to safeguard your information.
